Mr. Foster, my name is Mira Finlay, I have love sining ever since I can remember, from when I used to sing Phantom of the Opera in the car going to day care, to singing broken hearted girl into a hairbrush while looking in the mirror a few years ago. Music is the only thing that can make me smile on a horrible day, and make me feel like I am important, like I have a voice, and like people care. I realize that I am out of line asking you this, but I feel like I need to. I need your help Mr. Foster, I just need to see if my voice is worth being heard. I would appreciate any advice or help you can provide for me. I am 16 years old and I live on vancouver Island B.C I am Canadian. I love to sing Michael Buble's music, even though his voice is lower than mine I find a way to make it work. Singing is my passion, I want to chance peoples lives the way so many beautiful singers have changed mine. The reason that I love Michael Buble is not just because of his voice, but also because of his story, and how he got where he is today. I am begging you to give me one chance, just one, tell me a song you would like to hear me sing, and I will find a way to record that song and get it to you. All I want is your feed back, your help. I will sing any song, and I will not let you or myself down. I believe I have what it takes.
    My E-mail is- mira.finlay@gmail.com
My phone number is- (1250) 748-4448 (I will pay for any long distance charges you get if you call me..)
Please Mr. Foster, I want this so bad, I know I have what it takes. Thank you for your time and consideration. Even just taking the time to read this means a lot to me.
    -Mira Finlay

I have watched your concert again on PBS with Andrea Boccelli and really enjoyed it for the second time. I wonder if you are still looking for new artist. My nephew is 19 and he has cut his first CD as a tenor. We hope that he will be the next Andrea. If you are still helping artist and you would like his CD , I would mail it to you. I hope you find the time to read this and you still have it in your heart to help. Thanks, good luck with all your concerts, Ida Nadeau

I really wish I would have read the comments in ticket master's site about your prior concert! I would have definitely saved my money! Many, many disappointed fans! I heard that you have a year's contract with Mandalay Bay - so you probably don't really try to get any popular stars to your concert! You get paid - regardless!
As I left the concert, many others around me were complaining about your concert being a big rip off! David, what is wrong???? Why are you treating your fans like this? You have come to be a very arrogant person who no longer wants to please his fans!

Overall, I actually enjoyed this concert. There wasn't a whole lot of performers compared to the ones on DVD but it was entertaining. I was most looking forward to Charice and she was awesome. I wish she and the other artists were at the meet and greet though. Personally, I was hoping for Michael Bolton and the others I listed in my other comments but I'm familar enough with Philip Bailey, Paul Anka, and Chaka Khan and they were all great. I like Donny Osmond as a surprise guest. Your singing about your ex wives was funny and the slideshow of you and your daughters was nice. I didn't really care about the singers from the audience or Fernando and Angel Blue (although they're really good). I can't quite say I'm disappointed but I'll give it a 7.8/10.

Sorry to have to say that the concert on Nov 25 2011 at Mandalay Bay was an absolute disappointment. I loved Fernando "Umbrella" and loved the way Angela Blue was placed to lead to her great opera voice. I also loved Paul Anka's appearance and Charice was good as expected, though no major suprises at that performance. However, the show without Jackie Evancho and without encore was disappointing. My girl friend and I flew from Hong Kong, and my cousin and her husband and my girl friend's sister and her husband driving flying from North and Southern Californaia to watch your show expecting to see Jackie Evancho but instead have the amateurs including the Celine impersonator and the UK lady sounding more like a lounge singer performed, was clearly a major, major letdown. We were all sitting in the front row on the floor and we all were shocked the way that it "ended", not knowing it actually ended with absolutely no desire of any encore from the audience, and especially without Jackie being there.

What was worse was that we all thought that that was almost like a sham, that David Foster was actually impovising getting last minute guests and playing with audience amateur singers or getting last minute amateur singers to fill the show, while we all were thinking because David Foster couldn't book the other guests due to Thanksgiving, or that David Foster was "saving" Jackie for his Dec 30 show, made us even more disappointed. We just could not believe a music lengend would put together something like that, even while we kept searching everywhere including the web to find out the list of performers but could not find that anywhere.

David, that's not the way to "surprise" your fans or audience who expects no less from a music icon such as you. Really disappointed my cousin and my girl friend and her sister did not see the prodigy in Jackie from your show.

Sorry, but how would we feel safe for your next shows while this one was so improvised?

    Barry, Hong Kong

    David,
I really enjoyed your show. You never disappoint us.
As a fan I could see your courage to share your private past wives stories; I was glad to understand how you made songs during those times... I loved your beautiful daughters video also.
I've watched your PBS DVDs many many times and I hope people see that show ca n't happen again as you mentioned during the first show.
David, there are hundreds of audience who enjoyed the show as I did. Thank you.

I went to see your show on Friday night expecting to see something similar to your PBS special that I watched on tv. This show was a complete let down compared to the PBS special. I could sense after Philip Bailey that the show was not going anywhere except DOWN!!! I felt that I wasted my TIME and MONEY on this show. David Foster the "Hit Man" you let me down!!!!

I went to several shows in Vegas this past week as I was visiting friends and felt that each show was well deserved the money I paid; however, I was quite disappointed with your show. I really did not pay $300 to hear about ex-wives! I was really expecting more popular stars. When someone goes to a concert, they do not want so much time spent on audience performers or "UNKNOWN" singers! I felt the concert was very "UNORGANIZED". I actually complained to Mandalay Bay.
    A very disappointed fan!

I returned to Mobile after vising relatives in Vegas for Thanksgiving. I was so excited to tell my friends here whom I saw in Vegas at your concert! I told them how much I did enjoy hearing the talented people in the audience; however, paying $250 to hear very few REAL famous people (whom I could brag about seeing) was very disappointing! Yes, your concert did have some good performers - but I certainly would not have spent $250 to hear people I really did not know! I spent only $50 to go to America's Got Talent and at least I knew them from TV!!! I think your ad should reveal who the AMAZING OTHER PERFORMERS are and many people would save their money and go to another show. EX: Donny and Marie were OUTSTANDING! I definitely got my money's worth there! I had seen them the Wednesday evening I was there!
BTW - Charice was great - but we were sitting on the right side of the arena and she failed to work the stage - she stayed on the left. Thank God, for the large screen so we could see her from there. You may want to tell her to walk the stage more!!!

I have now seen the David Foster and Friends Concert at Mandalay Bay twice. I flew out the first time to see Donna Summer in October and the second this past weekend to see Chaka Khan. These ladies were great as always but the BEST surprise of the night was the newcomer Angel Blue. Not only was she beautiful on stage, but she had a stellar talent to match....was great to hear her sing pop and then turn around and sing opera like a real diva. She's the total package... I hope to see more her!
