Two of my favorite singers are Andrea Bocelli and Sarah Brightman. I just added Adele to my list of favorites. It would be a very good musical experience to hear Adele sing with either Bocelli and/or Brightman !
Is it true that your concert tour last October 25, 2011 in Araneta Coliseum, Philippines was produced and promoted by New Zealand Creamery, a company in the Philippines?Thank you for any information.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IrNcD34KFhM Check out this 16 year old from Winnipeg - played every instrument in this video - directed it - did the whole thing himself (with some help)I have no idea who this kid is - someone sent it to me and I thought you might be interested in the kid from "The Peg"
Please let me know whether David can help a very, very, very talented 9-year old kid. He does not live in the U.S. but can sing in so incredibly well it is just amazing out of this world. They call him the new Michael Jackson. I beg you please to convince David to give this kid a chance. He'll never regret it. As a matter of fact, the way I see it, his previous discoveries are going to look shy next to this one. Please answer as soon as possible.Thank you.Isadora
David, will you ever produce a duet with Jackie Evancho and England's Connie Talbot singing together?
I am away in the north for a family reunion and have enjoyed Jackie in the past months on the TV, butseeing tonight's concert from my home in Sarasota at the Ringling mansion was a special treat. I missed it locally somehow and was thrilled to see the concert event and additional footage from the courtyards andgrand rooms. Jackie is a masterful young supertalent and the production came off wonderfully completeon PBS. I am glad the weather worked out as well. Hoping to enjoy more of these fantastic productionsfrom the Hitman and PBS. What a special surprise from my hotel here in Jackson MI and WKAR PBS. Keep up the great work David and looking forward to the next live events. Thank you again andlooking forward to enjoying Jackie Evancho live soon. I only wish I could have been a tech/roadie at the Sarasota Ringling event....or backup singer! Bravo... David Redding
My kids and I are now fans of Jackie Evancho. What a talent! A God given gift. She was born to sing. As a former voice major I can appreciate what it takes to maintian that level of perfection, although I was never that good even after my voice matured. I have listened to, as well as watched her sing. Because of my history, I have a tendancy to focus on the mechanics of singing. I have watched her sing at several different venues. Her voice sounded very relaxed and effortless on AGT, Jay Leno (O Holy Night) and on David Foster. But when she sang at the church in Houston, I noticed some distinct differences. The recording/acoustics may not have been good but, although she sang beautifully, it appeared as though she was trying too hard to sound "operatic". My voice teachers and all the books I've read on singing emphasized the importance of not trying to make the voice do something it's not suppose to do. Especially at the early stages. Uncomfortable habits that get get picked up early are difficult to break. It was drilled into me that every sound, entrance, and release is made by use of the diaphragm. This way, there is absolutely no stress on the vocal chords. There should be no "tightness" in the voice. The mouth is where the sound comes out and forms the words. The rest is all diaphragm. This way, she can get full use of lung capacity and no vocal chord damage. I realize that her lungs and diaphragm haven't fully matured. When that happens and her voice changes and settles, she will be unstoppable. She should have a very good voice teacher, if she doesn't already, that is able to demonstrate exactly what is needed. Please take this critisism as friendly and constructive. Practice involves repetition which becomes habit which becomes second nature. We think she is absolutely fabulous and, with continued proper training, will only get better. We will follow her progress and wish her and the family nothing but the best. God bless!!
Can you tell me who the guy that sang the song "Say you remember" in the special is??? This guy is UNBELIEVEABLY talented!!!!! Is he David's next rising star? Where can I get more information on him? Please help!
I watched your show HIT MAN on PBS last night 03/05/11 and hope the show you are trying to put together with Earth, Wind and Fire comes together. One of my favorite groups of all time. I watched the show with my nine year old grandson and he loves the music as much as I do. We won tickets to an Earth, Wind and Fire concert two years ago in Connecticut at the Sun and we both play the music constantly. We also like the music of Seal.I have also taught my grandson that no matter what life throws at you, Seal for example with the facial scars, you can get up in front of people and people will look past the outside to what is inside if you believe in what you are doing you can overcome no matter what.
I know you're always looking for new talent. I heard Michael Bolton singing the prayer tonight. Take look at Omar Lopez-Cepero. He's in the cast of American Idiot. His rendition of the Prayer would make Micheal's look pale. He is a true talent and is destined for stardom. This guy is good.
