“I finally got out of the studio after all this time,” reveals Foster…But luckily not for good. In between Foster & Friends, he continues to produce some of the great voices of our time including recent stints with Michael Bublé, Seal, Andrea Bocelli, Jackie Evancho, Whitney Houston and “Glee” artist Charice.

David Foster entered the music business in 1973 as a member of Skylark and scored his first top ten hit "Wildflower.” The rest of the decade included Foster accompanying musical icons Neil Sedaka, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Paul Anka, Diana Ross, George Harrison, Dolly Parton, Sonny & Cher and Rod Stewart. In the late 70’s, he ventured into writing and producing and worked on some of the classics of that era including Earth, Wind & Fire's "After the Love Has Gone" for which he was awarded his first Grammy, Cheryl Lynn's "Got To Be Real" and produced albums for Hall & Oates, Alice Cooper and Deniece Williams.

In the 1980’s, he produced and wrote a line-up of No. 1 singles including Chicago's "Hard To Say I'm Sorry," Peter Cetera's "The Glory of Love," and John Parr's "Man in Motion" (St. Elmo's Fire) along with Chicago’s “16”, “17” and “18” albums. He created 143 Records in partnership with Warner Bros./Reprise and began recruiting an impressive roster of talent including Irish singing group The Corrs who sold 30 million records worldwide and received Grammy nods for his work with Natalie Cole, Celine Dion and Whitney Houston.

Moving on to the 21st century, Foster discovered, signed and produced Josh Groban whose CDs have sold well over 20 million copies. He also discovered, signed and produced Canadian singing sensation and Grammy winner Michael Bublé who has sold over 25 million CDs worldwide. In 2007, Josh Groban's Foster-produced holiday CD "Noel" sold over 3.7 million copies and became the biggest selling CD of that year. He produced and co-wrote the Golden Globe winning song "The Prayer" for Celine Dion and Andrea Bocelli, "Come What May" for Nicole Kidman and Ewan McGregor on the "Moulin Rouge" Soundtrack and Celine Dion’s multi-platinum smash "Miracle."

In 2009, Foster won a Grammy for his work with Michael Bublé and produced Seal’s 2009 global smash of R&B standards “Soul.” In 2010, he discovered, signed and executive produced YouTube singing sensation Charice’s debut CD and produced Katherine Jenkins’ CD “Believe.” In 2011, he will be producing 10-year old America’s Got Talent star Jackie Evancho.
